A Nigerian Disc Jockey identified as The Turnup Maestro has narrated how he was allegedly arrested by the police, arraigned on trumped-up charges and taken to the Kirikiri Custodian Centre in Lagos State. Recounting his experience via his X handle on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, the DJ stated that his ordeal started on Sunday, July 7, 2024, when some operatives of the Lagos State Police Command attached to the Olosan Police Station arrived at the lounge where he works. He noted that upon their arrival, the security men allegedly chased away customers from the lounge and seized his laptop.
