Gunmen k!ll NG-CARES senior official in Nasarawa

Yet-to-be identified gunmen have k!lled a senior official of the NG-CARES programme in Nasarawa State, Mallam Hassan Yahaya Egwa.   The NG-CARES programme is a multi-sectoral initiative designed by the Federal Government to provide immediate relief to the vulnerable and poor Nigerians who were adversely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.   It was gathered that Egwa was shot dad on Wednesday night, August 14, 2024, at his new residence in the Angwan Mai Matasa area of Lafia metropolis.  The deceased will be buried according to Islamic rites on Thursday.  Meanwhile, friends and colleagues have taken to Facebook to mourn him.   The post Gunmen k!ll NG-CARES senior official in Nasarawa appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
