Kneeling to propose marriage to a woman is unnatural, demeaning and disrespectful – PDP chieftain says

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Kogi State, Usman Austin Okai, has said that it’s demeaning and disrespectful for a man to kneel to propose to a woman.  Never raise a son to go on a knee for any woman to propose marriage, he wrote in a Facebook post on Wednesday. And you as a lady, you are happy that a man is kneeling down before you. Which culture or religion?
