A Nigerian Catholic priest, Rev. Angelo Chidi Unegbu, has said that a country that has more churches than industries cannot prosper but will remain poor, insecure and ungodly.  A country that has more religious billboards than industrial billboards or adverts cannot be said to be religious. It is rather a country that has excelled in religious merchandise.
